Milling CNC Machinist Position - Permanent
Location: Coon Rapids, MN
1st Shift: 5:30am to 3:30pm- Monday - Thursday
Pay Range: $21.00-$40.00 (depending on the amount and level of experience)
Summary
The Milling CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Milling CNC machines
- Perform quality inspection on completed part
- Perform preventative maintenance on Milling CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
- Complete tool changes
Qualifications:
- Operator experience with CNC machines
- Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop mat
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using a microscope is preferred
- Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instrument
- Previous experience with tight tolerance
- Programming experience with Milling CNC Machine
- Experience with set-up on Milling CNC Machines
- Experience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC Machines
