Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to join a fast-paced inpatient unit caring for a diverse, high-acuity adult patient population. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing complex cardiac and oncology patients and working in a dynamic care environment.

Scheduling & Work Expectations

• Shift: 3 × 12-hour night shifts

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• First-time travelers accepted

• Local candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License (must be in hand)

• BLS

• ACLS

• Chemotherapy Certification (required)

Charting System

• EPIC proficiency required

Clinical Responsibilities & Skills

• Manage medical-surgical and telemetry patient assignments

• Comfortable handling patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms

• Administer cardiac and oncology-related medications

• Provide post-procedural care for cardiac patients

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity setting
