Job Details
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to lead the daily financial functions and drive continuous improvements in processes and performance. This role will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, coordinate month-end and year-end close processes, and support operational excellence across accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Supervise daily operations of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing and adherence to internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and resolve financial issues.
Assist in developing and enhancing accounting policies and procedures, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor key financial metrics, identify performance trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Deliver regular reports on AR aging, cash flow, and operational financial health to leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
Mentor and develop team members through performance feedback, coaching, and career development.
Serve as a primary liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
