Assistant Buyer

Assistant Buyer Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary ($90K–$110K) plus 20% bonus.

Assistant Buyer Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of merchandising, buying, or product coordination experience in retail.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, formatting, reporting).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Assistant Buyer Preferred Background & Skills
- 2-4 years of footwear experience.
- Experience with high-end brands (preferred): Nordstrom, Saks, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus.
- Familiarity with Jesta, Vision, Essentus, Serenade, and Micros is a plus.
Assistant Buyer Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the buying team with purchase orders, product tracking, and inventory updates.
- Maintain merchandising data, style records, and replenishment schedules in internal systems.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and marketing to ensure products are ready for launch and presentation.
- Manage samples for photography, marketing campaigns, and internal reviews.
- Assist with merchandising projects, planogram updates, and reporting tasks.
