Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day/night rotating shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Open to 8-week contracts
\n• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients during days, nights, and weekends
\n• Every other weekend required
\n• Float required throughout the facility
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
\n• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
\n• Experience with Cerner charting system required
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 30-bed unit with daily census of 28
\n• 36 hours of orientation provided
\n• Skills include cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, feeding tube care, hemodialysis management, blood product administration, central line care, wound care, and tracheostomy care
\n• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
\n• One pre-approved time off request allowed
\n• Must have compact license or Maryland license
\n• Two supervisor references required
