Traffic Safety Services, Inc. is looking for a Traffic Control Maintainer in Cheyenne, WY Installs, inspects, maintains, and removes temporary traffic control devices to ensure safe traffic flow and TCP compliance.
Pay scale $17 - $27 Depending on Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain traffic control devices per approved Traffic control plan.
- Inspect device placement, visibility, and condition.
- Repair or replace damaged or displaced devices.
- Maintain signs, cones, barricades, delineators, arrow boards, and message boards.
- Assist with lane closures and traffic changes.
- Respond to missing or damaged devices.
- Report hazards and deficiencies to the TC Foreman.
- Supervise and ensure safe flagger operations on site.
- Verify flagger timecards and communicate daily with the prime contractor regarding project needs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of MUTCD and WYDOT standards
- 1–3 years of traffic control experience preferred
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred
- ATSSA TCT preferred
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in live traffic environments
- Available for nights, weekends, holidays, and adverse weather
Job Type: Part time seasonal
- 12hr shifts
- Monday to Saturday with possible Sundays
- Overtime
Reports to: Assigned TC Foreman for the project

The background check company, Continental Screening Services, will prepare the background report for the Company. The background report may contain information concerning your character, general reputation, personal characteristics, mode of living, criminal history, and credit standing. An "investigative consumer report" is a background report that includes information from personal interviews. Information may be obtained from private and public sources and for investigative consumer reports from personal interviews as noted above.
The Company may require you to complete a drug screening test and/or physical on you in connection with your employment application. Continental Screening Services will supply drug screening and physical reports to the Company.
