Position: Bilingual Medical Office Receptionist

Work Schedule:
Monday & Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
No weekends required.
This is an in-office position (not remote).
Job Type: Full-Time.
Salary: $40,000 annually.

Position Overview:

As a Bilingual Medical Office Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our medical office. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, and will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and timely registration

- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member

- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar

- Verify insurance information and collect copays

- Maintain patient records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents

- Communicate with patients and medical staff in a professional and courteous manner

- Provide translation services for non-English speaking patients

- Handle any inquiries or concerns from patients and address them in a timely manner

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations of the office

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)

- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
