Job Summary:
The Paint Production Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the paint mixing, pouring, and packaging processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work with raw materials, and a focus on maintaining safety and workflow efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in paint pouring operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency in batch production.
- Prepare raw materials for mixing, measuring and staging components for the Mixing and Paint Production Leads.
- Monitor and manage inventory of containers, pails, and gallons, ensuring adequate supply for production.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure consistency in paint color, texture, and packaging.
- Help with labeling, sealing, and packaging finished products, ensuring all orders are ready for shipment.
- Keep workstations clean and organized, following safety protocols and proper disposal procedures.
- Operate production equipment and ensure maintenance needs are reported promptly.
- Coordinate with the Raw Materials Handler to ensure a steady flow of production materials.
- Support troubleshooting and problem resolution in the production line when issues arise.
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise production guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of paint mixing, handling, and safety procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.
