Position Overview:
Allen Orthotics & Prosthetics is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key part of the patient experience—helping individuals who rely on orthotic and prosthetic care navigate their treatment journey with confidence and support.

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, both in person and by phone
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments across multiple providers and locations
  • Verify insurance benefits for orthotic and prosthetic services
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Communicate with clinicians regarding patient care, scheduling, and follow-ups
  • Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical documentation and referrals
  • Provide clear and helpful communication to patients regarding appointments, insurance, and next steps
  • Help ensure a smooth workflow between front office and clinical staff

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical office, preferably in orthotics & prosthetics or a related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of insurance verification preferred
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems is a plus
  • Proficient in basic computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferably
