About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and plating dishes in a timely manner. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their dining experience. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, with a minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients, including experience with grilling, sautéing, and frying
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and measuring ingredients
- Cook meals in a timely manner, ensuring that they are cooked to the appropriate temperature and consistency
- Plate dishes attractively and ensure that they are served at the correct temperature
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that orders are completed efficiently and accurately
Skills:
As a Line Cook, you will use your culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques to prepare delicious meals for our customers. You will also use your communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff and ensure that orders are completed efficiently.
