Job DescriptionPatient Service Representative (On‑Site | Bilingual Spanish)
We’re seeking an experienced Patient Service Representative to serve as a critical first point of contact for patients accessing healthcare services.
In this role, you’ll help ensure patients receive timely, accurate, and compassionate support—whether they’re scheduling appointments, navigating services, or getting answers to urgent questions. If you’re a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving and making a real impact in healthcare, this role may be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls (approximately 60–80 per day) from patients, providers, and insurance partners
- Deliver exceptional customer service through professional, empathetic, and efficient phone interactions
- Schedule, reschedule, edit, and cancel patient appointments via phone, SMS, and patient portal messages
- Screen and route calls appropriately while ensuring accurate patient registration and follow‑up scheduling
- Document clear and concise messages using internal communication templates
- Answer patient questions and resolve concerns in accordance with clinic protocols
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to support seamless patient care
- Maintain productivity and quality standards in a structured call‑center environment
- Learn and apply knowledge of healthcare programs and services
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual Spanish/English fluency (not required)
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare settings
- Strong phone presence with excellent listening and de‑escalation skills
- Ability to type 35 WPM with 90% accuracy
- Comfortable working in a high‑volume, metrics‑driven environment
- Dependable, detail‑oriented, and patient‑focused
Schedule & Work Environment
- 100% on‑site role in San Diego, CA
- Training schedule typically 8:00/8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (aligned with trainer hours)
- Post‑training shift transitions to 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Structured, collaborative contact center environment focused on patient access and retention

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
