Job Title: Manufacturing Controller
Reports to: CEO
Location: Twin Falls, ID
FLSA: Exempt
Salary Range: DOE
The Manufacturing Controller plays a key role in financial management, operational oversight, and strategic support for the CEO. This individual will coordinate closely with an offsite accounting support team that handles day-to-day accounting functions, while focusing on higher-level reporting, forecasting, performance insights, and process improvement within the manufacturing entity. This role is ideal for someone who excels in fast-paced environments, enjoys improving systems and processes, and thrives in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial setting.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
· Oversee and manage the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Maintain inventory valuation and accuracy across the manufacturing operation.
· Conduct variance analysis, including labor, material, and overhead performance.
· Coordinate with the offsite accounting team to ensure AP/AR accuracy and timely processing.
· Support cash flow planning, including short-term cash forecasting.
· Track capital expenditures and develop reporting processes for Capex oversight.
· Build and manage KPI dashboards to provide the CEO with clear operational and financial insights.
· Provide HR/payroll coordination support as needed to ensure accurate labor reporting and compliance.
· Develop and maintain internal controls to strengthen financial processes across the entity.
· Support and lead improvements in ERP usage, workflows, and financial reporting within the system.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with operations leadership to drive efficiency and financial accuracy.
· Identify and implement process improvements that increase transparency, accuracy, and scalability.

Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance (manufacturing experience strongly preferred)
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
· Strong inventory and variance analysis experience
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and leadership presence
· Preferred:
· CPA or CMA certification
· Experience in a growing, multi-entity, or entrepreneurial environment.
