Job Summary

Our Client is building a specialized pipeline of traveling Project Managers for upcoming commercial construction projects across the United States. This role is ideal for proven field leaders who can manage projects from mobilization through closeout and thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout (ground-up, TI, renovations)
  • Manage budgets, schedules, bids, subcontractor scopes, and project documentation.
  • Oversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications to maintain project health.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and owners to drive production and quality.
  • Maintain strong client communication and represent the company professionally on-site and in meetings.
  • Use project management tools and systems (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) to track progress and reporting.
  • Support jobsite teams with planning, issue resolution, and accountability to schedule and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (ground-up, TI, or renovations).
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationwide full-time for project assignments.
  • Strong capability in budgeting, bidding, change management, and project controls.
  • Proficiency with common construction PM platforms (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills—comfortable leading teams and interfacing with clients.
  • Able to balance the details: strong with numbers, contracts, and people leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP and/or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects ($10M–$100M) across multiple states.
  • Familiarity with BIM, Lean Construction, or advanced planning methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across varied stakeholders.
  • Interest in growth into Senior Project Manager or Project Executive career tracks.

Work Environment / Schedule

  • Travel-based role with nationwide project assignments.
  • Field and office coordination environment (jobsite-first, with reporting/meetings as needed).
  • Schedule varies by client and project phase; per diem and travel accommodations are typical.
