Job Description:
As a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI), you will play an essential role in supporting students with visual impairments by providing specialized instruction and adaptive strategies. Youll assess each students unique needs, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and work collaboratively with school teams and families to ensure meaningful access to the curriculum and environment. Your goal will be to promote academic achievement, independence, and confidence in each student you serve.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate with a specialization in Visual Impairment. They must also meet all state and district-level requirements, including fingerprinting and background clearance.
