This opportunity offers a part-time role for a Speech-Language Pathologist working directly with high school students in grades 7 through 12. The position is based in Cranberry Township, PA, and requires in-person support throughout the full school year. With a commitment of 22 hours per week, this contract role allows for meaningful engagement with students in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, interventions, and support tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed for optimal outcomes
- Deliver services and support in alignment with school policies and state guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with students in grades 7-12 preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate documentation in a timely manner
- Commitment to in-person service delivery and hands-on collaboration
