Pneumatic Drivers – Local

Type of Freight: Powdered cement

Local Routes: Home daily | Average earnings of $1,300–$1,600 weekly

Benefits: Daily or weekend home time based on the route, reliable freight, and a professional work atmosphere
- Initial Compensation: 25% of Line Haul
- Increase after 90 days to: 28% of Line Haul

Equipment:
Our International LT trucks are fully equipped with amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator, TV, premium driver's seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU) to ensure your comfort while on the road.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Class A tractor-trailers to deliver freight, general goods, and specialized cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; promptly report any defects, accidents, or violations.
- Load, secure, and inspect cargo; adhere to special handling protocols for hazmat or temperature-sensitive shipments.
- Maintain accurate Hours of Service (HOS) logs and all necessary DOT/FMCSA documentation.
- Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery timelines.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep the trailer clean and ready for use.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class A CDL — mandatory.
- HazMat endorsement preferred but not required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- TWIC card preferred but not required.
- Must successfully pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical standards.
