Location: Positions available in various locations, including El Paso, TX; El Centro, CA; Grand Forks, ND; Harlingen, TX; Laredo, TX; McAllen, TX; Spokane, WA; Swanton, VT; Tucson, AZ; and Regional Locations
Salary: $135,000 – $147,000
Final compensation will be determined based on contract award, candidate qualifications, and government-approved rates.
Job Summary:
The Corridor Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Program Management Office (PMO) by overseeing facility operations, maintenance, and repair activities across designated corridors. This position involves managing acquisition processes, tracking budgets, coordinating building operations, and ensuring the effective sustainment of CBP facilities. The Corridor Specialist is responsible for analyzing data, preparing reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal standards and regulations. With a focus on operational efficiency and facility management, this role is essential to maintaining the infrastructure that supports CBP’s mission
Responsibilities/Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquisition Support:
- Assist in the preparation and development of acquisition documentation, procurement plans, and performance measures to facilitate project success.
- Funding Management & Budget:
- Track, manage, and report funding and budget requirements for assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with CBP financial systems and processes.
- Building Operations, Maintenance, and Repair (BOMR):
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including tracking project status, costs, and logistics.
- Conduct trending and analysis of historical data to support budget and execution planning.
- Prepare monthly reports on maintenance and repair project progress.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate facility data in systems such as TRIRIGA or its replacement, ensuring timely updates and reporting.
- Facility Operations Management:
- Monitor maintenance work, assist in developing repair solutions, and ensure all permits, warranties, and equipment documentation are properly accounted for.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facility management or related areas
- Strong knowledge of building operations, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting systems (e.g., TRIRIGA, SAP).
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition and funding processes
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- OSHA 10-hour training certification.
