Our client in the Kittanning area is seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant for a contract to hire role. This position is administrative in nature and will directly support the VP of Finance, with occasional back-up responsibilities in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Shipping. This is a fully onsite role. Hours are 7:15am - 4pm or 8:15am -5:00pm (includes a 45-minute lunch.) Based on experience, pay is $20-$25 hourly. A background check is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the VP of Finance and office staff
Manage files, documentation, and office records with accuracy and confidentiality
Answer and direct phone calls; manage email correspondence
Perform data entry and assist with basic reporting
Support clerical functions in AP/AR and shipping departments when needed
Maintain office supply inventory and assist with scheduling service vendors
Contribute to a smooth, organized, and efficient office environment
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years in an administrative support role
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
Basic understanding of accounting or shipping processes is a plus
Dependable, professional, and adaptable to client needs
