The hours will be Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in our Elkhart Fulton Road location. The ideal candidate will help greet our callers in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner. Screens callers while responding to routine requests for information/service and/or directs callers to appropriate staff. Sends communication requests to the clinic phone-room/nursing staff by using the communication intake template. You will be required to verify whether an injury is work related and obtains all necessary information to complete WC Case Manager template when applicable.
Our Call Center Reps will need to communicate with and set up all appointment schedules via internal email regarding scheduling processes and/or updates. All reps will also have to mail out new patient letters and/or directs patients where registration paperwork may be found online as well as assists in maintaining appointment recall lists. Reps are required to contact patients to reschedule appointments when physician’s schedules change as directed by manager. The callers must accurately follows communication intake processes when tasking messages. Reps are required to check inbox in NextMD, completes tasks as requested. CCRs are also required to checks inbox in EHR, completes tasks as requested.as well as stays current in their respective field through reading professional literature and attending continuing education offerings, membership and participation in professional organizations, certifications, etc. and attends meetings as required as well as maintains patient confidentiality and other duties as assigned. You must have previous call center or office environment experience to apply for this position. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
