Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: New York, NY 10016
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: 2-Month Contract With High Chances of Extension
Pay Range: $18 - $21/hour (W2)

Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and operational support, including coordination, reporting, and basic financial and HR-related tasks, in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports, track data, and compile information for departmental use.
  • Support budget tracking, payroll submissions, and basic HR transactions.
  • Maintain employee and departmental records in compliance with requirements.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, travel, and logistics; prepare meeting materials and minutes.
  • Manage office supplies, vendor coordination, and contract tracking.
  • Screen calls, emails, and mail; schedule appointments, and provide general administrative support.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners as needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of administrative or business support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.

Education

  • Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
