Job Details

Shift: Part-time (35 hours/week), 4 days a week with variable days off

Location: Lutheran Medical Center Radiation Oncology, Golden, CO

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Radiation Therapist, you will:

  • Interpret and implement treatment plans, delivering and charting simulation and treatment summaries.
  • Perform simulation procedures and prepare immobilization devices, ensuring accurate measurements for dosimetry.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks and quality assurance procedures.
  • Assist in training and evaluating student therapists.
  • Provide basic patient care and education, monitoring patients for treatment symptoms.
  • Ensure timely and professional scheduling and treatment of patients.

What We’re Looking ForMinimum Qualifications

  • Radiology Tech License in the state of practice
  • Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited institution

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs.
  • Frequent verbal communication with patients and care providers.
  • Manual dexterity for operating delicate equipment.
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients, as well as carry supplies.
  • Capability to navigate busy environments safely.

Compensation and Benefits
