Position Summary
The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is a senior executive role responsible for leading the brokerage’s growth strategy across recruiting, retention, M&A, and revenue expansion. The CGO will directly oversee and develop a team of Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs), ensuring alignment, accountability, and performance across multiple regions.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about scaling people, systems, and market share.
What You’ll Do
Growth Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute company-wide growth strategies aligned with long-term goals.
- Drive initiatives to expand market share, production volume, and profitability.
- Analyze industry trends and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Agent Recruiting & Retention
- Build and lead recruiting strategies to attract high-performing, culturally aligned agents.
- Strengthen retention through onboarding, productivity programs, and career pathways.
- Track and report on funnels, retention rates, and satisfaction metrics.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with vendors, referral sources, and community organizations.
- Lead M&A activities, including team integrations and acquisitions.
- Expand presence in key markets with innovative growth initiatives.
- Data & Performance Management
- Partner with Finance to build scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Use data-driven insights to measure impact and refine strategy.
- Present clear growth reports with actionable recommendations.
Leadership & Culture
- Supervise and coach EVPs, ensuring accountability and development.
- Reinforce company values, diversity, and collaboration across teams.
- Model EOS disciplines (Rocks, L10s, IDS) and drive cultural consistency.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in real estate or brokerage management.
- Proven success in agent recruiting, revenue growth, and M&A execution.
- Strong understanding of brokerage economics, compensation models, and industry dynamics.
- Data-driven decision maker with exceptional communication and relationship skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
Success Looks Like
- Net agent growth, improved retention, and expansion into new markets.
- Year-over-year increases in company dollar, GCI, and market share.
- Effective execution of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- High EVP performance and agent satisfaction scores.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 (based on experience)
- Performance Bonuses: Recruiting, retention, and company growth incentives
- Profit Sharing/Equity: Participation in company success
- PTO: 20 days + 13 paid holidays
