A specialty pharmacy in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a knowledgeable pharmacist for a 13+ week contract opportunity. This role offers a unique blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy duties, providing a dynamic work environment for an experienced pharmacist licensed in Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately in retail and long-term care settings
- Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Participate in immunization administration and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Handle rotating weekend shifts as part of the schedule
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Possible rotating weekends
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota pharmacist license required
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification preferred
- Immunization certification and CPR certification required
- Proven experience in retail pharmacy and long-term care preferred
