Local / Regional CDL Driver
We are seeking a dependable Local Driver to safely pick up and deliver freight while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate documentation. Drivers operate company equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver freight and required paperwork to customers and terminals
- Verify freight against Bills of Lading and document shortages, overages, or damage
- Secure freight properly and follow safe loading procedures
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and complete required inspection reports
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report needed repairs
- Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and team members
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements and air brake qualification
- 2+ years recent tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass DOT physical and work in varying weather conditions
Preferred
- LTL or freight handling experience
- Hazmat endorsement
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Frequent lifting of 1–50 lbs
- Extended driving and outdoor work conditions
Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
