Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 13-week assignment with guaranteed 3 shifts per contract period
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• 1 year of Med Surg/Tele experience required
\n• 8 weekend shifts required in facility's 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
\n• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
\n• Must have telemetry and telemetry monitoring skills
\n• Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities
\n• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments may be required
\n• Work with post-catheterization patients
\n• Must wear navy scrubs
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• 12 hours of orientation required
\n• Free parking provided
\n• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
\n• Must have Kansas and Missouri license or compact license
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including gallbladder surgery, appendix surgery, hysterectomy, chest pain rule out, sepsis, and heart failure
\n• Work in 33-bed unit with daily census of 30 patients

This community hospital features 240 total staffed beds including a 16-bed ICU. The facility provides comprehensive medical services with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The hospital maintains modern equipment and technology to support quality patient care across multiple specialty areas.
