Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to serve an elementary school student population in the Nashville area. This role focuses on delivering psychological services within a school setting to support student development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations in accordance with Tennessee DOE standards.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and administration to develop and implement individualized educational plans.
  • Participate in meetings regarding student progress and support strategies.
  • Provide consultation on behavioral interventions and support mental health needs of students.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district policies and timelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Tennessee DOE Certification for School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably within a school environment.
  • Strong assessment and consultation skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and meet timely deadlines.

Position Details:

  • Location: Joelton, TN (Nashville area)
  • Duration: Contract position through the current school year (CSY), ending May 20, 2026.
  • Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.
  • On-site role with direct interaction at one elementary school.
  • No fingerprinting required for credentialing in Tennessee.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $49 to $61 per hour.
  • Contract generated individually by the school district.
  • Prescreen interviews available with flexible scheduling options.
