Compassionate CNA/NAR for Afternoon shift, responsible for providing direct resident care including activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility assistance, and documentation while ensuring resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of care in a skilled nursing facility setting. Must communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members while following all safety, infection control, and facility policies.
Education & Experience:
Must be a Nursing Assistant (NAR) in good standing on the MN State Registry or willing to complete required CNA training and competency testing per state and facility guidelines.
Specific Requirements:
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to elderly and disabled residents. Must follow facility policies, maintain professionalism, operate resident care equipment safely, and work flexible schedules as needed.
Working Environment:
Works throughout the care center in a fast-paced healthcare setting with frequent interaction with residents, families, staff, and visitors. Position may involve exposure to stressful situations, interruptions, hazardous materials, and emergency response situations.
Physical & Sensory Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and assist residents throughout the shift while using proper body mechanics and safety procedures. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs independently and more with assistance is required.
