Job Title: Evening Healthcare Radiologic Technologist
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Evening Healthcare Radiologic Technologist to join our team in an acute care setting. This position involves a work shift from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, ensuring high-quality imaging services and contributing to patient care within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per physician orders.
- Ensure the safety of patients and staff while applying radiation safety measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using the EPIC charting system.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for imaging techniques.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Maryland State license as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Certification required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
- Experience working in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- Must comply with the 50-mile radius rule for submissions.
- Candidates must provide a copy of an unexpired driver’s license.
- 36 guaranteed hours per week with a 91-week contract.
