Location: Fort Pierce, FL, 34945Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)Job Type: PermanentCompensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)Shift:Variable Shifts (Full-time)
8-hour shifts only:

  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    Rotating Weekends Required

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a rotating shift schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing high-quality patient care in accordance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to obtain images for physician interpretation.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care and instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Must be a State Registered Radiologic Technician.
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) – REQUIRED.
