Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid State Medical License in Texas
• Proven experience in OB hospitalist roles or inpatient obstetric care
• Excellent clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Prior experience working in high-volume hospital settings
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient obstetrics experience
• Current Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure

Other Requirements:

• Must hold or be able to obtain necessary state licensing and hospital privileges
• Ability to travel to Houston, TX, for the duration of the assignment
• Commitment to maintaining certification and staying current with medical standards
• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including overnight and weekend shifts

Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $195.00. You will be paid weekly via direct deposit and have access to comprehensive W-2 medical benefits, paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws, and reimbursement for licensure, certifications, travel, and other applicable expenses.
