Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference this summer by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near beautiful Palm Beach Gardens, FL. We are seeking three creative and compassionate SLPs—open to both new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and experienced professionals—for part-time, contract placements across select school sites for the Extended School Year program. Supervision is available for CFs. This is an on-site only opportunity (no remote/VOCO option), and SLPAs are not being considered at this time.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Florida provisional SLP License issued by the Department of Health (required)
  • Recent school-based SLP experience or strong clinical background preferred
  • Comfortable providing services for students in PreK through 12th grade
  • Willing to work a fixed schedule at a single assigned school site
  • Must complete time-sensitive fingerprinting and eligibility screening (details provided upon interview invitation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based speech-language services aligned with student IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to foster successful communication outcomes
  • Conduct assessments, document student progress, and participate in team meetings as needed
  • Support a diverse caseload with students ranging from elementary to high school
  • Adhere to district policies and maintain compliance with all credentialing requirements

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:

  • Part-time hours within a concentrated summer schedule (20–26 hours/week, June 10 – July 16, 2026)
  • Predictable daytime shifts Monday–Thursday—no evenings or weekends
  • Placement at a single campus (no itinerant travel required)
  • Supervision and mentorship available for CFs
  • Positive, student-centered school communities

This is a fantastic way to expand your skill set, make an impact, and enjoy the summer months in Florida. If you're excited to support young learners and meet the above criteria, submit your application today to take the next step in your school-based SLP career!
