**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology Technologist!**\n\n**Job Description**\n\n- Are you passionate about patient care and expert imaging? We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology Technologist to enhance our Diagnostic Imaging team!\n \n- Your main role will be to deliver high-quality breast imaging while providing compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups.\n \n- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other imaging professionals to:\n - Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols.\n - Ensure proper positioning and image quality while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles.\n \n- Key Responsibilities Include:\n - Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalities.\n - Track and retrieve prior mammography images for effective comparison and interpretation.\n - Educate patients on breast health and self-examination techniques.\n - Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation.\n - Advocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delays.\n - Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach initiatives to promote mammography services.\n - Support Bone Density exams, and assist with CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy/OR procedures as needed.\n - Take call as assigned and perform other additional duties as required.\n \n- **Required Qualifications**:\n - ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography.\n - Active California Radiologic Technologist License.\n - Active California Mammographic Technologist License.\n - Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License.\n - American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.\n - California Venipuncture Certificate (required within 3 months of hire).\n - Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience.\n\n- **Physical & Work Requirements**:\n - Ability to stand and walk 4–6 hours per day.\n - Ability to bend, reach, crouch, balance, and push equipment as needed.\n - Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.\n - Exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, and chemical agents.\n - Provide care to patients across the lifespan.\n\n**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
