Overview
Conduct field Caregiver orientation and continuing education for assigned area.
Responsibilities
- Conducts training for field employees and maintains documentation
- Performs skills training and conducts competency evaluations of field staff at assigned service site(s)
- Provides ongoing training support related for required skills
- Schedules training per assessed needs
- Notifies employees 30 days prior to any expiration dates to ensure up-to-date training records
- Maintains supplies for all scheduled training
- Manages records of training activities
- Monitors and report effectiveness of training efforts and programs
- Ensures employees are comfortable and able to focus on learning and that the employee education process is as positive as possible
- Supports training in three branch locations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant with current certification
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in a facility based healthcare setting or community home health performing the tasks required under the Home Services Agency license within the last five years
- Preferred experience training or mentoring other CNA’s
- Knowledge and experience of caregiving responsibilities
- Travel required using company provided vehicle and must have a good driving record
- Vehicle will be provided to use for travel between branches, however, on occasion willing to use personal vehicle
- Available to work evenings and weekends
