Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design and implementation of automation systems in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls engineering, with a focus on developing innovative solutions for complex machinery and systems integration challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for various industrial applications.
- Implement automation solutions using PLC programming and HMI configuration.
- Integrate pneumatic and hydraulic systems into design projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to optimize performance and reliability.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for control systems and design specifications.
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD and Studio5000 for system layouts and programming.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering and automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming
- Experience with control system design, including UL508 standards.
- Knowledge of robotics and motion control systems.
- Familiarity with FactoryTalk and other HMI software.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuit design and control systems.
