Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in an inclusive classroom setting in Taunton, MA. This contract position is focused on delivering high-quality special education services through both push-in and pull-out models. Job Details:
- Location: Taunton, MA
- Contract period: Immediate start through June 17, 2026
- Schedule: 35 hours per week, 5 days a week
- Caseload involves a manageable number of elementary students requiring specialized support
- Classroom setting includes both push-in support in general education classrooms and pull-out sessions for focused interventions
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive learning environments
- Use evidence-based instructional strategies to promote student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and school staff regarding student performance and needs
