Job Description
The Procurement Assistant supports the facilities team by managing the procurement and tracking of supplies, parts, and services necessary for maintenance and operations. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials across multiple locations.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment as well as adaptable to learning and using multiple software applications effectively.
DELIVERABLES
· Assist in procuring equipment, supplies, and replacement parts to support facility operations.
· Maintain and update multi-location inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and availability.
· Coordinate the setup and tracking of recurring service agreements and vendor contracts.
· Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any procurement issues.
· Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure compliance with company purchasing policies.
· Audit and reconcile expenses related to procurement activities.
· Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to forecast and plan for inventory needs.
· Monitor and manage budgets related to procurement and suggest cost-saving measures.
· Prepare reports on procurement activities, expenses, and inventory levels.
· Support the facilities team with administrative tasks as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement processes
· Personal interest in health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition
· Pass a background check.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Primarily office-based (hybrid 3 days a week in Denver, CO office) with occasional visits to facility locations
· Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
