We are seeking an outgoing, passionate customer-centric professional to join our team. As Customer Service Advocate, you will act as a liaison between Curis Functional Health and its patients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building positive relationships. In addition, this role will also assist in the implementation of outreach strategies to engage the community and promote Curis Functional Health’s location and services through Curis’ social media accounts. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Handle inquiries, complaints, and feedback from customers via various channels (phone, email, online, and Curis’ social media accounts). These inquiries may relate to scheduling, patient services, patient billing, and/or specific provider information.
Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve customer issues, escalating complex cases to appropriate departments.
Outreach Development:
Work in tandem with the Customer Service Advocate Supervisor in the implementation of strategic outreach plans to connect with the community and build relationships.
Event Management:
Assist with the organization and coordination of outreach events, workshops, and other activities to promote the organization.
Community Engagement:
Work in tandem with other departments in building and maintaining relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Material Creation:
Assist with the distribution of promotional materials related to recruiting and marketing events through the company’s various social media accounts.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Track and report outreach efforts to assess and analyze effectiveness.
Reporting:
Prepare and present reports on customer satisfaction and outreach performance.
Collaboration:
Work with internal teams to align outreach strategies with organizational goals.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, community members, community partners, and stakeholders.
Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish positive relationships. A natural ability to connect with people and inspire them to act.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and resolve customer concerns.
Organizational: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Customer Service: Experience in providing excellent customer service while working with multiple devices/platforms, working in tandem with other departments in a professional demeanor, resolving customer inquiries/complaints, and meeting department/individual goals.
Outreach: Experience in developing and/or assisting in developing and implementing outreach programs.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow protocol, procedures, and exercise sound judgment.
- Manage Customer Service responsibilities, Outreach and Administrative duties, while providing excellent Customer Service to all individuals.
- Can meet deadlines, establish priorities, and work in tandem with other departments to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of all Curis Functional Health efforts.
- Capacity and proven ability to write concisely, express thoughts clearly, develop ideas in a logical sequence, and communicate in a professional, diplomatic and understandable manner.
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations (previous training and experience is preferred but not required).
- Comfortable speaking publicly about our multi-disciplinary functional health centers that offer a patient-centered approach to addressing the root cause of health issues and to restoring patient wellbeing.
- Willingness to accept and perform duties as assigned in the beneficial interest of company and individual growth.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent – REQUIRED.
- 3-5 years of Customer Service experience in a Call Center environment – REQUIRED.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and comfortable learning new systems and programs – REQUIRED.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in communication, business, or marketing – Preferred.
- Prior experience in recruiting, sales, community organizing, or medical field - Preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish: Excellent oral and written communication skill – Preferred.
