Job DescriptionMetalcraft Solutions is seeking a dependable CNC Grinder Operator to join our growing team in Akron, OH. In this role, you will operate CNC grinders and related equipment to produce high-quality precision parts for industries including aerospace, medical, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for ensuring parts meet specifications, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and supporting overall production quality. - Operate CNC Grinders, Blanchard Grinder, Sand Blasters, and related equipment
- Perform inspections using micrometers and calipers to ensure quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to produce accurate parts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Report malfunctions, defects, or quality concerns to supervisors
- Meet production goals while maintaining precision and accuracy
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1+ years’ CNC Grinding Operator experience required
- Ability to read and interpret prints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects; stamina for full-shift operation
- Dependable, with the ability to work 40 hours per week (OT and Saturdays as needed)
