Job Description
We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm assignment in Los Alamos, NM. This is a busy, high-volume retail pharmacy environment offering the opportunity for long-term placement.
 Schedule:
<ul>
<li>
Flexible with store hours (must be able to start at 8:30 or 9:30 AM)
</li>
<li>
Pharmacy Hours: MondayFriday 8:30 AM 6:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
</li>
<li>
Rotating weekends required
</li>
</ul>
 System: Pioneer
 Job Duties:
<ul>
<li>
Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
</li>
<li>
Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling
</li>
<li>
Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding)
</li>
<li>
Manage a high-volume workflow of approximately 600 prescriptions per day
</li>
</ul>
 Requirements:
<ul>
<li>
Active and clear NM Pharmacist license
</li>
<li>
Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
</li>
<li>
Background in high-volume pharmacy preferred
</li>
<li>
Open to new graduates
</li>
