Extension is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a direct-hire position with a client located in Milwaukee, WI.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role provides direct support to customers while assisting outside sales and management in developing existing and prospective accounts. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling the product lines, resolving product and customer-related issues, managing vendor relationships, and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate cost requests to Purchasing
- Create quotes, follow up on quotations, and close sales opportunities
- Process customer purchase orders and acknowledgements
- Manage customer expedites and resolve critical supply chain issues with Outside Sales and Purchasing
- Partner with Outside Sales to build and maintain the sales pipeline
- Maintain and grow gross profit dollars and account profitability
- Handle Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s)
- Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and build customer relationships
- Collaborate with Outside Sales to manage slow-moving and dead inventory
- Review stocking requirements per customer agreements to maintain proper inventory
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including moderate Excel skills (creating/manipulating spreadsheets)
- Solutions-driven and eager to learn new skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–3 years of sales and/or customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment
Salary
- $50-55k/yr + commission
