Nursing Secretary

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents.
We are seeking to fill the position of Nursing Secretary – Part-Time.
- $21 to $22.50 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Monday – Friday; 20 hours per week.
Nursing Secretary Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
- 1 year of healthcare administrative experience.
- 2 years of Long-Term Care facility experience preferred.
- Detail oriented and driven to succeed.
- Computer and electronic communication proficiency with the ability to use designated software.
Nursing Secretary Job Summary:
- Use Point Click Care (PCC) to audit and maintain records, obtain reports, and coordinate data.
- Types memos, file paperwork and post information.
- Produce medical record copies.
- Organize office supply, nursing supply and agency invoices.
- Handle paperwork and death certificates for all care providers.
- Monitors PCC to identify issues with order processing and provider signatures.
- Verifiy information for insurance companies.
- Answer telephone calls, including the nursing office telephones.
- Assists with special projects.
