Assistant Teacher : FULL- TIME

The Floater Teacher provides consistent support across classrooms, stepping in where needed to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all students. This role is essential in maintaining smooth daily operations and fostering a strong sense of community among staff and children.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director and Lead Teachers to assist, supervise, and actively engage with students.
- Provide classroom coverage and support as needed throughout the day.
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Contribute ideas, creativity, and teamwork to strengthen the program.
- Assist in fostering a strong sense of community among staff, students, and families.
- Attend all required staff meetings and professional development trainings.
Requirements:
- High energy, engaging, and team-oriented mindset
- Associate's Degree or minimum of 2 years experience in early childhood or a related field
- Minimum of 2,500 documented childcare hours or equivalent education coursework
- Ability to confidently interact with children and provide direction when needed
- Warm, upbeat, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Must successfully pass all required background, fingerprint, and reference checks
