Role Overview
The Care Advisor is a high-impact, quota-carrying sales role responsible for guiding families through pre-need and at-need funeral planning. This role focuses on converting high volumes of inbound leads into meaningful conversations, building trust quickly, and helping families make informed decisions.
You will operate in a fast-paced environment, managing a large pipeline while delivering empathetic, consultative sales experiences. Success in this role requires strong organization, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance compassion with performance.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and respond to a high volume of inbound leads (phone, email, and web inquiries)

Conduct 100+ outbound calls daily to engage and follow up with prospective families

Build rapport and trust quickly through empathetic, clear communication

Educate families on Earth’s soil transformation process and value proposition

Guide prospects through the full sales process, from initial inquiry to close

Support the sale of funeral insurance products (licensing required within first year)

Maintain accurate and organized pipeline management within CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)

Collaborate with teammates to close inbound opportunities and contribute to team goals

Continuously improve through feedback, coaching, and enablement materials
Day in the Life

High activity call blocks with a focus on connecting with inbound leads

Managing hundreds of active opportunities in CRM

Responding to emails, SMS, and scheduling follow-ups

Participating in team collaboration and shared deal support

Learning and applying new information about funeral services, insurance, and internal systems
Required Qualifications

Proven experience in a quota-carrying sales role
-
Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume pipeline (100+ leads/month)

Experience making high-volume outbound calls (ideally 100+ per day)

Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in funeral services, insurance, or a related field

Personal experience with funeral planning or end-of-life care

Familiarity with tools such as Aircall, Slack, Notion, or similar

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $50,000
-
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000

Uncapped commission with accelerators
