Our organization is on the lookout for a committed and proficient OBGYN Physician to become part of our team. This role involves delivering comprehensive overnight obstetric and gynecologic services, with an emphasis on managing labor and delivery, conducting inpatient consultations, and responding to emergencies. The position is crucial for achieving excellent patient outcomes and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.
We offer various practice models, including Full Scope, Hospitalist, or Nocturnist options.
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide in-house support for Labor & Delivery, overseeing both routine and high-risk pregnancies.

Carry out obstetric procedures such as vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and operative vaginal deliveries.

Assess and manage acute gynecologic issues and respond to OB/GYN emergencies.

Conduct postpartum rounds and follow-up care for designated patients.

Offer backup assistance to the hospital team as scheduled.

Address patient inquiries after office hours in line with practice protocols.

Work closely with certified nurse midwives, nursing personnel, and the wider care team to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.

Accurately and promptly document all patient interactions in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Licensure: Active Oregon MD/DO license (or the ability to secure one before the start date).

Experience: At least one year of experience in a high-volume Labor & Delivery environment is required; hospitalist experience is preferred.

Skills: Strong clinical judgment, the ability to excel in a fast-paced setting, excellent communication abilities, and a solid commitment to teamwork.

The schedule will be determined by the group's needs and will include weekend and holiday rotations.
