Join our growing and reorganizing medical practice! El Nunu Medical, P.C. is seeking a caring and detail-oriented Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to become an integral part of our team. We are a patient-centered practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care — and we’re looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional who shares that dedication.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and manage front desk operations with a friendly, professional attitude.

  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on patient appointments.

  • Reach out to patients to schedule follow-ups, review lab results, and coordinate provider visits.

  • Review and organize emails and forms for providers; ensure timely completion and communication.

  • Check insurance eligibility and verify patient benefits prior to visits.

  • Process referrals and submit prior authorizations for tests, procedures, and medications.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records within the EMR system.

  • Support the overall workflow of the office and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.

  • Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization processes.

  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and dependable personality.
