Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and business-focused Financial Analyst to support a manufacturing organization through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and proactive decision support. This role plays a critical part in optimizing plant performance, evaluating cost drivers, and providing management with actionable guidance to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for assigned manufacturing sites.
- Analyze plant-level results including production costs, inventory trends, standard costs, and margin performance.
- Support the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts in partnership with operations and leadership teams.
- Monitor KPIs such as labor efficiency, material usage, scrap, OEE, and overhead absorption; present findings with clear recommendations.
- Collaborate with plant managers and functional leaders to evaluate cost-saving opportunities and support capital investment decisions.
- Maintain and validate standard cost models, BOMs/routers, overhead rates, and cost allocations.
- Track and report program and project costs, ensuring visibility into spending vs. plan.
- Build financial models to support scenario planning, new product introductions, pricing strategies, and margin analysis.
- Support audit activities, internal controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting accuracy, and ERP system utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 2-7+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and plant operations.
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with major ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven, production-focused environment.
