Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a skilled X-ray technologist to support a Level II trauma medical center in Northern California, with assignments based in Oroville and Chico. This contract role requires flexibility, as the professional will float between outpatient imaging and the main hospital to provide comprehensive radiologic services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging in compliance with state and facility protocols
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely and accurately, holding a current fluoroscopy permit
- Collaborate closely with medical staff, providing critical imaging support for acute and surgical care units
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for precise and timely documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services
- Valid CPR certification
- Current fluoroscopy permit
- Minimum 2 years of acute care radiology experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to successfully complete travel assignments highly desired
- Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records charting
