JOB SUMMARY:
While upholding Hoyt’s Policies and Mission and Vision Statements, the CNC Programmer is responsible for all activities related to the CNC Machining Centers. This includes Prototype, Programming, Set-ups, Tooling, Jig Design and Continuos Improvements as well as ISO Compliance with Routers, Inspection Sheets and Process Control.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Creates production ready processes that yield quality product
-Creates Mastercam files that include toolpaths for various part types
-Design production CNC fixtures
-Comply with programming standards
-Supports production floor
Works all scheduled hours including overtime, maintains good attendance, adheres to all safety policies, procedures and rules and performs other duties as assigned by management.

Note: Management reserves the right to require specific training for this position. However, depending upon the type and the quality of prior work experience, some exchanges can be made between training and experience.
III – QUALITY AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Decision Making and Problem Solving:
Ability to determine if the work meets the quality standards set by Hoyt. Must make minor decisions and solve problems related to meeting daily schedule requirements.

This job requires the ability to interact with other employees and work as a member of a team. Responsible for maintaining a cohesive work group

iV - Working Environment:
Physical environment – Works in production environment with exposure to varying noise and temperature levels. May be required to do moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, standing, reaching, walking and standing for long periods. Climbing ladders and exposure to heights is required. Mental pressure – Demands to meet department quality standards and daily schedule requirements. Work to a development timeline, at times managing multiple parts depending on machine availability. Constant implementation of process improvements and proper communication of these improvements to the shop floor.
