Job DescriptionPosition OverviewTo Assemble auto parts that consistently meet company’s standards and expectations. Responsible for meeting plant targets for safety, quality and efficiency. Essential Job Functions:

• Works in a manufacturing environment safely.
• Follows standardized work instructions and work sequence for each process.
• Works well with team to meet customer orders and production goals.
• Completes all working documentations, records and reports as requested.
• Understands and follows all company policies and procedures.
• Be proactive and reactive to abnormalities in the process.
• Uses key performance indicators as a method of continuous improvement.
• Ability to work with company management regarding concerns, issues or other matters.
• May attend training as assigned.

Personal/Technical Skills:

• Focuses on continually improving skills as outlined.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team environment.
• Proficient written and verbal communications skills.
• Basic math ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Work Conditions:

• Open office environment, moderate to loud noise.
• Standard automotive plan environment with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hearing protecting, etc. Personal attire standards may apply.
• Ability to walk or stand for extensive periods of time.
• May occasionally be required to lift, up to, 60 pounds.
• Constant non-aggressive repetition required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• One (1) to two (2) years manufacturing environment experience or related field preferred.
• Previous exposure to a multicultural office environment a plus.
