Role Overview:

Axonius Federal Systems is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to join our growing team! As a Senior Technical Account Manager at Axonius Federal Systems, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with agency-wide clients, understanding their unique business needs, and aligning Axonius solutions to meet those needs. Your strong technical expertise, combined with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, will enable you to deliver outstanding customer experiences, drive customer retention and growth, and inspire the Technical Account Manager team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key agency-wide clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships to become a trusted advisor.
  • Understand clients' business objectives, IT infrastructure, and security requirements to effectively align Axonius solutions with their needs.
  • Conduct in-depth technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to showcase the value and capabilities of Axonius products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and product management, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Axonius solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand product usage within client organizations, driving upsells and renewals.
  • Provide advanced guidance and troubleshooting assistance to clients, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring smooth operation of Axonius solutions.
  • Act as a customer advocate within Axonius, relaying feedback, feature requests, and enhancement opportunities to the product and engineering teams.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to maintain a deep understanding of the security and IT landscape.
  • Contribute to the development of technical account management best practices, tools, and processes to enhance customer success and team efficiency.
  • Identify areas of growth and expansion for the Technical Account Management team, working closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of combined experience within the cybersecurity or IT industry, preferably in a federal or enterprise software environment; With 4+ of those years proven experience in a technical account management or customer-facing role.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of IT infrastructure, security technologies, and networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and resolve technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) and experience with APIs, scripting, and automation.
  • Familiarity with APIs and their practical application in a real world environment
  • Understanding of data sets and how to effectively extract useful information
